Just finished these two skin mounts for customers. The rainbow is a 22-1/2” big boy caught at Strawberry Reservoir. The color is very unique with lots of red and dark skin. The Brown is a whopping 33” 13 pounder caught in Wisconsin through the ice. It was one of many big fish caught. He wrapped it well and brought it back on his airplane as baggage. It arrived in great shape. He agreed to take me with him when he goes again next year 😁.

Customer wanted something done with the feet of an elk he harvested last year. After skinning, fleshing, and tanning them I came up with a set of book ends I made out of oak. Replaced the leg bones with a 2” diameter dowel. The price of oak was a real eye opener but it came out looking pretty good.

Just finished a skin mount of this 24” cutthroat my customer caught at Strawberry reservoir. You have to release them if they are between 15”-22”. So, this one is referred to as a slot buster. I’ve never caught a cutthroat that was a slot buster but looking forward to the day.

Just finished the last big game head from last years customers. Only did a few of these white tales. Now I can concentrate on fishing.
