Our two recent litters are by now old enough and ready to go! We've got Martens and Siamese, + a hairless boy!
DM me if interested in them! All are $20 each, except the hairless, which is $25.
Note though- as I very often am contacted by people interested in specific rats who sometimes wait weeks+ or even never follow up, and I end up having to hold on to the rat for a long while, ending up spending more to feed it than I will get back,
All rats will now go on a "first to come and pick up, first served" policy. I will hold/reserve a rat for half the price of the rat paid upfront, + 5 per extra week I have to hold onto it. This is non-refundable if you change your mind, as I could have given the rat to someone else during that time.
The initial half-price deposit will subtract from the price of the rat you pay upon picking up, however the extra weekly payment does not. i.e. You pay $10 for a $20 rat, then $15 to hold it for 3 extra weeks. You pay $10 upon pickup.
This is not me trying to be 'greedy for money' or anything. But for every rat I have to hold for someone, that is money I am spending to feed it, for potentially weeks, when I could have given it to someone else already. I have /a lot/ of rats to feed, to the point I go through rat food very quickly, thus having to hold onto babies for a long while means I go through food even faster, and spend more on it.
So, from now on, my rats are first come, first served, unless paying a deposit + holding fee, with a set pickup date.
Anyone who I am already currently holding a rat for, I will continue to do so, however the new policy will apply to any future adopters.
