Time to sign up for LKC training classes. The next classes begin on 8/25/2025. Some classes fill up quickly, so don't delay.
We offer: Star Puppy, 3 levels of Manners classes, Fit Dog, Scent Work, Rally, Obedience and Conformation.

The new Fit Dog class is a great class to prepare your dog for other active dog sports.

A well trained dog is not only a joy to live with but training your dog builds a lifelong bond with your dog.

The next general meeting for the Lawrenceville Kennel Club is Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. Our meeting will be held at the New Hope Christian Church at 1982 Old Norcross Road, Lawrenceville, 30044. The church is only about 5 minutes from our LKC training building and has a lovely air conditioned room for our meeting. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed at this meeting,

Plan to attend the LKC Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:30 PM at the LKC Training Facility.
Dinner will be catered by Moe’s. Members are welcome to bring desserts.
Maria Ferrar from UGA will give an update on the semen Study conducted at the Lake Lanier Cluster Show.
Guests are welcome.

7:00 PM – Intermediate/Advanced Manners – CGCA/CGCU – Bring dogs to first class
Wednesday April 2, 2025
7:00 PM – Beginner Conformation – First class is orientation – No dogs
7:00 PM – Practice Conformation – Bring dogs to first class
8:00 PM – AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy® – First class is orientation – No dogs
Thursday April 3, 2025
7:00 PM – Basic Manners/CGC® – First class is orientation – No dogs
8:00 PM – Fit Dog – First class is orientation – No dogs
Friday April 4, 2025
7:00 PM – Intro to Scent – Bring dogs to first class
Saturday April 5, 2025
9:00 AM – Rally- Prerequisite basic obedience – Bring dogs to first class
10:00 AM – Competition Obedience – Bring dogs to first class
May 18, 2025 – Last week of classes
May 21, 2025 – S.T.A.R. Puppy test (must have attended at least 6 classes)
May 22, 2025 – CGC test (free to current students. $20 for non students
