It’s Five Dollar Friday, Furriends🐾

Casey Jones and Zeller had appointments to see our amazing vets today and their bill has rounded up to $190. If we could get 3️⃣8️⃣ of our AMAZING supporters to donate just $5 we can get this bill paid off today when I pick them up and not add anymore to our outstanding bill.

(The invoice shows revolution canine which is what we use to dose out our flea prevention to cut costs and that was covered by previous donations💕)

Levi, with his big pleading eyes, is reaching out to our supporters this beautiful Five Dollar Friday to ask for your help. We urgently need funds to purchase flea, tick, and worm medication and to cover upcoming expenses. Last Friday, we were blessed with $35 in donations, but with 26 cats in our care we need significantly more to purchase these necessary medications.

With 1,706 followers, if each one could contribute just $5, we would raise $8,530—what a tremendous blessing that would be!

Brothers, Casey and Zeller, are looking for a new foster home! Casey is adventurous and vocal where as Zeller is all things zen. Per their current foster, Zeller has come into the alpha role and Casey is always looking for mischief.

Today is five dollar Friday and we’re looking to our supporters for help💛

Even with being closed to the public, we have ongoing expenses: $500 a month for rent, $100-$150 weekly for supplies for 26 cats in our care, and large outstanding vet bills. We also desperately need flea/tick/wormer medication and pay $105/month for storage until we can get back open.

Our sweet Dolly girl is heading to her foster home today!💕

As Dolly Parton wisely said, ‘We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails.’ Dolly was a feral kitten and the sole survivor of her litter, but thanks to a compassionate couple who saved her, she’s been given a chance. She’s easily overwhelmed by the other cats, and while we’re always ‘adjusting the sails’ to support her, nothing compares to the comfort and love of a true home. So, please send up some prayers that this is the purrfect place for her!

Those who visited our Main Street location will remember all of the beautiful mural work that was done by local artists. The dashing duo, Neptune and Mercury, are on the prowl for their forever homes, and they're hoping it's with someone as fabulous as YOU🌟 They're a bit on the shy side, but with some patience and TLC, they'll be the best friend you’ve always been searching for! Their foster family has been introducing them to all sorts of furry friends, and while they're still a tad wary of dogs, they're definitely curious which tells us they will adjust with some slow introductions. These boys are all about the fun - from wand toys to laser pointers, they're ready to play with everything in sight (even the forbidden Barbie dolls they’ve snuck out of the fosters storage 😏)

We regret missing our Five Dollar Friday yesterday BUT we’re hoping we can count on all of you to raise needed funds for . These donations will help us cover some upcoming Vet expenses that I’ll mention below ⬇️

Joanie, our polydactyl girl who has been in her foster to adopt home, is still battling nasal congestion despite two weeks antibiotics. Thursday we went back to the Vet and were prescribed new medicine. However, Monday morning I will be dropping her off to be sedated as the Vet wants to check her for possible polyps which could be the cause of her lingering symptoms. After she is cleared of all sickness she will officially be adopted💛

Additionally, Fang, our regal boy with folded ears, requires sedation for a deep ear cleaning and a dental check is also needed due to his age. I suspect he may have an infected tooth that needs pulling so he will also be seeing the Vet on Monday. We'll update everyone with more details, as we know these procedures won't be cheap, and we'll need everyone's support to help cover the costs.

Wanted to share a little update on our sweet, sweet Robyn. She is starting to eat better for me but it is still *very* small amounts. As you can see at the end of the video, she easily gags and often throws up what she has eaten. She very much despises medication time and has made it crystal clear that she is fed up with me😅 But, we’ll keep chugging along until she’s on the mend!

Friday we will be going back to the Vet. I’ve noticed that certain foods I’ve given her seem to be hard for her to chew so I’m going to have the Vet take another look at her mouth and see if they can notice anything off. Could be a big reason for her weight loss that happened so quickly. We are staying more hydrated and administering 100ml every three days verses the 100ml we were having to do daily, so YAY for some progress🎉

Please don’t stop praying for our girl, she needs all she can get💞As always we appreciate all of you for the love and support and we will make sure to keep everyone updated as we can!
