We don’t take lightly that for 14 years, many of you have woven Lucky Dog into the routines of your lives.
First with puppies and kittens. Laters with seniors.
Celebration treats and then hugs when the treats were no longer needed.
Saturday errands. Quick stops that became long conversations.
This year, celebrating feels a little strange. The world feels loud, heavy and uncertain in ways we all feel differently.
Over the last 14 years, what we’ve learned is this: people still need connection, comfort, and a little joy.
Dogs still make us laugh.
Cats still judge us daily.
Tiny routines still matter.
Showing up for one another still matters.
Community still matters.
So maybe this year’s anniversary isn’t about pretending everything is perfect. It’s simply about making room for a little joy, anyway. It’s about puppies and kittens who grew old, customers who became friends, and a community that kept choosing to walk through our doors again and again.
That’s worth celebrating.
Thanks friends for letting us be part of your lives for the past 14 years.
