Facebook friends - David and Jeanne’s pony, Buddy, got out last night and they have not been able to find him. They live just off 59 HWY and CR 460/N 650 Rd south of Lawrence. To all my valued large animal clients,

After 44 years, I have decided to quit the large animal portion of my practice. As of January 1, 2024, I will only be serving small animal clients. I will continue to have large animal medications and vaccines to dispense, should you need them and wish to purchase them from me. I will be available by phone to consult on your large animal concerns, in the case you would like to seek my veterinary advice only.

It has been an extremely difficult decision, but physically I am no longer able to perform the treatments and procedures necessary to provide the best care to my large animal patients.

As soon as I recover from knee replacement surgery, I will continue making small animal house calls, and in-clinic patient care on Tuesdays at Lewis Veterinary Hospital, 3101 W 6th St Lawrence, KS.
