Why it’s important to know where your lineage comes from 5 Years ago to create my Paint line I took Fishers Fowls Paint line and I took Sunrise Silkies paint line and made my own, over the last 5 years I have solely worked on this paint line alone. This year we added a new color. Black and chocolate mottled. Beginning of summer next year we will have mottled chicks available. I also am working on a personal color. I have always loved the cruella devil look and will be playing with a party pen to achieve this. We will also be working on hyper or I would call it dominate white mottled with dark skin off the rip. But a little back story and plans going forward. We will also have these all in showgirl variety as well ! Hope everyone has a great day! 🤎

Just an example of how they can change…. Charlie Brown and James Brown ( The Browns ) ( chocolate mottled splits ) both look like the right picture today, left picture is a few days after hatch 🤎 They are finally starting too get there feathers …. Late Bloomers 🙄 there majority white sibling is fully feathered out 🤎 Yes that is their sibling I know majority white right 👀 Super excited! Hoping for all boys 😊 Yeah that’s right I said it boys 🤣 I have too many girls ! I know not the thing to complain about but boys are important toooo !!!! 🤎 Everyone meet The Browns 😌

And this is exactly why I grow my projects out, this cutie 😅 (mottled split) from chocolate mottled and a hen that holds many gems including paint breeding, she presents as blue in color 😌 the black paint spots on them….what I would consider blues in color 😌 good representation of the color difference as sometimes it’s hard to distinguish a good black between blue and chocolate sometimes in dark colors 🤎

Somebody is holding a hidden gene 👀 every chick has came out mottled 😅 In the chicken world ( both parents must hold a mottled gene for it to show) she is my fav, mixed with a paint she produces the white with orange, pictureded below (she also carries a red cuckoo gene) and with my chocolate mottled she produces these little mottled carbon copies 😌 So for fibro being so good I’m super excited. Look at these cuties!!!! Also did some digging on my lineage, it is possible she holds the mottled gene 👀 Love to see both genes present! Some have orange spots. Super excited watching these grow ☺️ also out of the 5 years I have raised her she has spun maybe 2 that look like her. Curiosity defiantly won on this one, sometimes we just wanna see what birds produce. Or what genes are hidden. And this is a good example and a good way to find out 😌
