Cat bites are not like dog bites. A cat bite is a puncture wound. It is small, it closes fast, and that is exactly what makes it dangerous. If that wound closes before it has been properly cleaned out, you can seal bacteria directly into your bloodstream. That is not a minor inconvenience. That is how people end up in the hospital. Or loose a finger .

This is why there’s few cat groomers in the area and why it’s expensive.
