Since January 9th, we have opened our doors, hearts, and spirits to provide 24 hour shelter, warmth, safety, and hope to 39 individuals in need. What began as an urgent response to a pressing need became a powerful reminder of what we already know—when we come together in love, guided by our shared responsibility, we create healing spaces where all are seen, valued, and supported.

As our temporary shelter closes this Friday, our work does not end. We remain committed to walking alongside those on their journeys, continuing as a White Flag Shelter during extreme weather, and launching a recovery support program to uplift and empower those ready for the next step.

We honor every person who has come through our doors, every supporter who has helped sustain this work, and every community member who believes in a future where care and dignity are a given, not a privilege. Keep us in prayer as we continue to reduce harm, nurture healing, and build pathways of hope.

We are so grateful for 2024. We were able to add a wonderful groomer to our team this year and expand our clientele!! We are looking forward to celebrating 5 years since our grand opening this year. We can’t wait for everything that’s in store for Marti’s Purty Pets!! We are so thankful for all the love and support that has consistently and increasingly been shown!
May 2025 be filled with love, health, happiness, growth, and an abundance of Purty Pets!!
