We're sharing some pet safety info as we know fireworks and the heat make for difficult conditions for our furry friends. Please take precautions and when in doubt, leave your pets safe at home.

Go see our friends at Molly & Friends if you need a tag for your furry friend(s)!

Molly & Friends has a tag engraving machine. For just $10, you can design a custom tag for your pet with your contact info.
It’s almost the 4th and lots of pets escape their yards when the big booms start. Help them get home sooner with an engraved tag!

Hello lovely current and potential future clientele!

Busy season is kicking off in full swing now that warm weather has officially set in. We've had a ton of inquiries for new appointments and people wanting in ASAP!

We are currently booking out around 2 weeks or so. If you have a day in mind or need in sooner rather than later, call us asap!

Keep in mind that most places are going to be busy this time of year so we'll do our best to get you in when we can!

PSA to our clientele:

It has come to our attention that a clients daughter has put us on blast for the partial shave her mom's cat received. We are going to share our side of the story. Everyone is going to make their own conclusions anyway.

The owner called on 5/13 saying her cat needed to get in asap due to her condition and made the statement on the call that we may not be able to do the shave because the cat is so uncomfortable.

We booked the cat in our soonest spot which was 5/19

The cat was so severely matted that there was bruising and skin irritation from mats pulling different directions. The groomer had to stop the groom once it became unsafe to continue. The owner was called to pick up. The owner was told at pick up that the shave should be finished at the vet where the cat can be safely sedated.

The daughter is claiming the wound shown in pictures is from the groom or us "shaving the cats skin off" IF that was the case, there would have been blood everywhere. The wound isn't from us or the owner. It is from the tight matting. No matter who removed it, the skin would look the same. We can't change that.

The daughter is hanging on the wording of us holding the cat down. Most if not all cats are scruffed and gently held down for grooming as cats do not willingly stand like dogs do for grooming. It usually takes the groomer shaving the cat and an assistant to safely hold the cat during the grooming especially in a salon full of dogs.

The cats owner has been present for previous grooming on this cat.

The cat was on a regular schedule until may of 2024 so we could avoid severe matting since the cat hates grooming and hasn't been groomed for an entire year.

Our only mistake was not sending this cat directly to a vet to be shaved under sedation.

We did what we could with the cats severe condition and behavior to try and ease the uncomfortable matting.

The actual owner hasn't reached out at all. No call or message. No vet visit or paperwork shown.

Because of this clients daughters behavior we will no longer be offering cat grooming services. Cats have very thin skin and do not stand willingly for grooms which is why cat groomers are so scarce. Our not wanting to continue this service has to do with the risk not being worth the reward. We are happy to continue services at groomers discretion for existing clients, but do not wish to advertise full cat grooms at the moment as cats are a whole different stressful ballgame that we've now been slapped in the face for attempting for a cat that was in dire need.

Take all of these things into consideration please. We truly do care about our clients and situations like this are just lose lose all around.
