Today was one of those days that truly fills your heart. 💚🐴
Our core, faithful volunteers were hard at work at the main facility, taking full advantage of the beautiful weather to tackle projects that had been waiting through the winter months. There’s something special about a day when the sun is shining, the horses are content, and everyone comes together with a shared purpose.
With the help of the incredible AHG TROOP DE 1125(American Heritage Girls Troop Delaware 1125) so many meaningful tasks were accomplished—each one directly helping the rescues in our care. This wonderful group of young ladies showed us exactly what true character looks like: respectful, hardworking, kind, and always ready to lend a hand. No job was too big or too small, and every task was met with smiles, determination, and teamwork.
Seeing young people step up with such compassion gives us so much hope for the future. These girls didn’t just volunteer their time—they brought their energy, their spirit of teamwork, and their hearts to help animals who once had very little.
Changing Fates Equine Rescue of Delaware is incredibly grateful for their support in helping care for the rescues fostered here at SpeakeEasy Stables. Because of groups like this, our horses continue to receive the love, dedication, and second chances they so deeply deserve.
