Please note that we are an all volunteer group and are open to view horses
by appointment only. You can call the number above or message us to request an appointment. Adopters are carefully screened and commit to care for the balance of his life or they must return it to Changing Fates. The horse can never be sold or given

away. We are dedicated to improving the lives of the magnificent horses we rescue, as well as the families who adopt them. The exhaustive labor of our small group and ever expanding circle of volunteers is well rewarded by the knowledge that these horses are safe. Funds for the rescue come from donations, adoptions, grants and fundraising events. Our need for funding assistance is acute, as rescuing a single healthy horse can easily exceed $900.00. Storm Damage at the Farm – Horses Safe, But Help Needed

Last night’s storm hit us hard. Two of our run-in shelters were destroyed, and another is still being evaluated for damage. We also lost one of our hay feeders. It’s heartbreaking to see, but we’re incredibly grateful that all of our horses are safe—just a little shaken up.

These shelters are vital for keeping our horses protected from the elements, and rebuilding them is a big job. If you’d like to help us get back on our feet, donations of any size would mean the world right now. Every bit goes directly toward materials, repairs, and ensuring the horses have the safe spaces they need.

Nala update
Nala is making strides as you can see! Easy to catch in the field( without a halter on), has had her feet trimmed, stands quietly when saddled, and is taking to riding very well! Nala has benefited so much thus far and with an additional 60 days with trainer, Andy Blowers, she could be ready for her forever home. Please consider supporting Nala’s journey.

Meet Nala!
Nala is a 5-6 year old mustang we have had at the rescue for about a year. She came to us with three other horses from another rescue that was closing its doors. When Nala got to the rescue she was feral and did not trust anyone. Over the past year we have worked very hard to help Nala to gain trust in people.

Now that Nala can be handled on the ground we want her to continue her success by going to training. We are excited to announce that Nala has entered training locally. We are very excited to see her continue to progress and grow.

This is where we need your help! It is only through your donations that we can continue to send horses like Nala to training.

We believe Nala will need at least 60 days of training if not more. We would like to raise $2,500 to support Nala in the training that will truly change the rest of her life.

Some of you probably remember the the horses of Cherry walk in Quantico, we took in 17 and Sunshine one of the mares blow blessed us with a beautiful filly ❤️ we named her Dezi…. Dezi was adopted and is doing great so we wanted to share some progress of Miss Dezi now. Lily and Dezi are making great strides.
