Little update from the dog bite 😬

It’s bruising up nice and purple now and removing these big bandaids suck 🤣 I did go in and get a tetanus shot so all is well. The next morning animal control came to speak with me and get my story, but I have not heard any news so I’m not sure what ended up happening on that end. But I’m just glad everyone is safe 🥰

Sometimes you have to throw yourself in the line of fire to protect and that is exactly what I did! While walking two cuties tonight I could hear a dog in distress. Me being me I wanted to check it out and make sure everyone was okay. We turned down the sidewalk and within seconds heard a lady scream “GET YOUR DOGS!” Both my dogs were on leashes but her dog was full on charging us. I grabbed both leashes, put them in one hand and braced for impact. Thank god the other dog had a harness on because I was able to hold on to my dogs and keep the aggressor at an arms distance. The lady finally caught up and drug her dog away. As I stood there regaining myself and checking over my two pups I was expecting the lady to come out and check on us, but no. So I got us home and now it’s time to play doctor. In the morning I will be calling non-emergency because honestly, these people seemed real sketchy 😅😅 their dog had clearly just had puppies so that mama instinct was strong but they clearly knew their dog was aggressive towards other dogs and it shouldn’t have been loose in the front yard. Never found out if the crying dog was okay because we just had to get out of there but I hope it was 🙏 keep your head on a swivel and always be prepared! These cuties got out without a scratch and I wouldn’t have it any other way ❤️
