Urgent 🚨

Everyone please welcome Simon 🥹
We just brought him in yesterday and he already misses his home so much. Our hearts are breaking for him. In the video you can see him with all of his belongings trying to go back to his previous owners. He is anxious at the shelter and it is completely understandable because he is only seven months old and still a giant baby. Simon is a pure bred Great Dane and perfect in every way. He loves every animal and every person he meets but he does not love the chaotic shelter environment.

We are OVERWHELMED with joy to have received such an emotional response to CHARLIE, just one of seven seniors we inherited from a dear former volunteer who passed AND of many other seniors living their golden years in a shelter instead of soaking up the sun on a cozy couch. This amazing lady will be bringing Charlie home this week to be a friend to her 19 😱 year old cat! He and every senior deserves this. Please consider one of CHARLIE’S sweet housemates: Gidget, Carlos, Bart and Milo❤️ We have senior dogs too! SENIORS have the best cuddly energy and simply want love and you!

Wishing the happiest birthday to our favorite Russian, YELENA! There are people who give of themselves and then there are people like Yelena, whose generosity knows no bounds. She drives transports- often straight through so animals don’t have to wait too long to reach their destinations. She fosters some of the most medically needy animals in our rescue and she’s a champion level bottle feeder. Basically she wants to save every animal, so naturally she found a home among us and we are so very lucky. Be like Yelena!

Charlie 🧡

This senior boy has really won over our hearts. He unfortunately came into our shelter after his owner passed away. He’s the sweetest little kitty always looking for affection . Senior pets deserve love, undivided attention and no stress. If you have it in your heart to foster or adopt Charlie and give him a dignified end of life I promise it’ll be one of the best decisions you ever make

BLACKIE 🖤

This sweet boy came to us from Puerto Rico and hasn’t had interest. He’s truly the perfect dog. So good on a leash, great with ALL dogs, loves affection. He’s likely around 5 or 6 and medium sized around 40 pounds. We think he’s a lab/ chow mix potentially.

This sweet girl showed up when we were beyond capacity but her sweet demeanor won us over instantly and we couldn’t say no. Miss Rosie is a year old and a compact 45 pounds. She LOVES other dogs and thinks she’s a lap dog.

🚨‼️ URGENT PLEA ‼️🚨

Today we took in another major medical case. Just yesterday, we had to do an amputation on a tiny kitten who had been attacked by a raccoon… and that same day we got an emergency call about a dog who had been hit by a car, living with his homeless owner, and suffering with a fully exposed bone.

When we met him, we couldn’t imagine the pain he’d been sitting in for days. Our veterinarian believes this injury has been exposed and untreated far longer than anyone realized. The amount of pain he has been enduring is unthinkable.

We named him Marley, and today his life completely changes but we need your help. Out rescue is struggling financially.

These cases are nonstop, and the veterinary bills are overwhelming. In order to continue stepping up for animals like Marley, we need the support of our community. We don’t unlimited funds and we have reached a very tough spot- do we stop our life saving work due to a lack of funds?

If you can donate even a couple of dollars, it truly makes a huge difference. Today is also giving Tuesday and we a donor willing to match donations up to 2k 🙏🏼

Urgent help needed for a kitten attacked by a raccoon suffering serious injuries including a broken leg.

Molly was rescued by a compassionate trapper and was being cared for on a patio when an unfortunate incident occurred this past Saturday at 3 AM. In a terrifying encounter, Molly was attacked by a raccoon, which left her with severe puncture wounds and a broken hind leg, completely exposing bone.

By the time we learned about her situation late Sunday night through Facebook, Molly had not yet received any medical treatment. Understanding the critical nature of her injuries, we quickly rearranged our schedules to get her on pain medication and into surgery this morning.

After a thorough examination, it became clear that Molly's injuries were severe. She has developed a massive infection, and due to the extent of the damage, her leg required immediate amputation.

We made the decision to keep Molly with us in rescue so we can provide her with the extended critical care she desperately needs for a full recovery.

We believe that every animal deserves a chance at a healthy life, and with your support, we can help Molly heal and find her forever home.

Our rescue is broke and drowning.. Please consider donating even a small amount to our rescue efforts so we can stay afloat, cover her medical expenses and provide the necessary care.
