We’re thrilled to announce a special fundraising initiative to help us support our most urgent medical cases and to continue to care for the almost 600 animals that we currently have in our rescue.

Starting today, we are selling high-quality backpacks with a purpose. Each backpack you purchase helps us provide food, shelter, and medical care for the animals in our rescue. 🎒❤️

For only $30, you will not only get a stylish and backpack, but you’ll be making a statement that you support rescue and you’ll be making a difference in the lives of animals in need.

Backpacks are currently only available in person (8736 West Commercial Boulevard, Sunrise FL) but will also be available online in the next week.

They are sweet, cuddly, playful, and very well socialized. Whether you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, a little shadow to follow you around, or a playful new family member, we have a kitten for you.

Please note that kittens under 4 months old must be adopted in pairs unless you already have a young, friendly cat at home. Kittens thrive with a feline companion to help them learn, play, and grow into confident, well-adjusted cats.

Introducing Sunshine and Ella 🥹

People say all the time that you can’t adopt pure bred dogs or puppy store dogs at rescues but we are here to tell you that’s not true. We constantly get asked to take in all kinds of dogs.

Sunshine- 9 week old mini golden doodle just purchased three days ago. Typical sweet little baby. Future size unknown. Great with everyone. She will be available once fixed but feel free to put in your apps now.

Ella- SWEET English Bulldog girly. Loves all dogs and people and has a lot of energy. PLEASE stop buying animals!

We don't just live in a hot state- we have EXTREME heat, the kind that leaves people and animals depleted. No domestic animal should live outside in these conditions. Leave your pets home and resist the urge to take them to outdoor venues, be vigilant about their paws on the scalding ground and offer shade and plentiful water. Offer water to wildlife too! The heat is oppressive!

💛 Beagle Pool Party Day! 💛

Our Ridgeland beagles had the best time swimming, splashing, and playing with their friends today! A couple of our most fearful pups weren’t quite ready for the party, so they stayed back where they felt safe and comfortable.

This group is a little different from the first set of beagles we welcomed. Many of them are older, have spent even longer living in cages, and will need patient, experienced adopters or fosters who can help them learn what it’s like to be loved and live in a home.

We are already so in love with these sweet souls and can’t wait to watch them continue to blossom. 💛

💛 We welcomed 10 more beagles into the rescue 💛
These sweet babies are a little older than our last group, and several are true seniors. Many of them have spent their entire lives living in cages and are only now getting the chance to experience what it means to be loved and part of a family. We are so excited that they get to spend their golden years surrounded by comfort, kindness, and care.
Over the next week, we’ll be sharing more about each of them and introducing their unique personalities. We are actively looking for fosters, adopters, and donations to help us give them the best possible start to this new chapter.
We currently use Purina Pro Plan dry and wet food, and several of these beagles will also need dental care.
Their lives are only going to get better from here. ✨

Join us as we welcome 15 more beagles from Ridglan Farms ♥️

We placed our first 15 beagles into safe and loving forever homes, but the work does not end there. Tomorrow we will be bringing 15 more into the rescue and we will need all the help we can get from our community.

If you would like to temporarily open your home to one of these babies, please apply to foster at savingsagerescue.org
We want to make sure they go into experienced homes to decompress before becoming available for adoption. Must be local.

If you can’t foster but would still like to help, you can find our donation link and Amazon wish list in our bio 🙏 monetary donations, dog food, and foster homes are our highest need.
