In Loving Memory of Kathy – A True Guardian of Wings
We want to honor our deep love and respect for a remarkable woman who has passed: Kathy of Bird Haven Rescue and Sanctuary of Kingman, Inc. Though the sanctuary has now closed permanently, Kathy’s legacy lives on in every life she touched — feathered and human alike.
Her compassion was boundless, her dedication unwavering, and her heart pure. The impact she made through her tireless bird rescue work is immeasurable, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her.
May she rest in peace, and may her spirit continue to soar through the loving work of
Feathered Vines Exotic Bird Rescue and Feathered Friends
two incredible organizations led by amazing women have taken in the birds looking for forever homes from Bird Haven.

Let's chop it up today! On the menu is a healthy variety of veggies and fruit that needed to be ate before they over ripe! Apple, spinach, broccoli, carrot, jalepeno and cucumber. Friends please remember birds in nature are the seed spreading creatures of our planet. So.... Big to small bird, they are going to make a mess. Regardless if you give them a small piece of the veggie or do a chop. Happy healthy birds like to sling the goodness! Here we have chop for our big and small birds!

Just a little information about us!

A little about us and our babies.

The importation of parrotlets stopped in the 90's. That is why we do DNA and genetic testing on all our breeding birds. With the gene pool not being plentiful, testing is very important. Proper cage enrichment, healthy diet, and genetic testing are always done before any bird is breed. The strongest blood lines for us can have no inbreeding nor genetic defects. Some breeders will breed the same blood line to each other, or generation after generation of mutation being breed together. We are not passing judgement on any other breeder, simply this is not how we do it. We Do Not now, nor will we ever unless given scientific proof it produces strong healthy birds.

Any bird we have purchased that has not made the cut, became our forever bird and will not be breed. We do not sell our retired birds, we are their forever home. With the exception of a few whom family members love and are now their forever home.
