Welcome this regal new mommy and her 8 three day old puppies. Mommy’s life became urgently in danger when she was rescued from the crawl space under an abandoned house and snapped at the person reaching into her den to pull out a puppy. Another human error that put this families life in danger. If you ever come across a stray mommy and her babies … remember her instincts are to protect her family. Call your local animal control or an experienced rescue. This family got lucky and tugged at our team’s heartstrings and she’s safe and will raise her family safely in a loving WDN foster home.

Spay and neuter your pets to avoid “oops”. Today we took in 23 “oops” puppies and one pregnant “oops” mommy. Pups are 4 days to 8 weeks old. All are from a California overcrowded shelter.
