At Sunday’s practice we had to bid a tearful farewell to Nicki Gardiner and her pups. They are moving to Arizona and leaving us behind. Nicki has been on the team since about 2017, and we sure will miss her!

Nicki, we wish you much happiness in your new home, and we hope you will be able to race with us occasionally. Keep us updated on all your adventures!

Fly'N Aces sends a big thank you to Surf City Flyball for hosting their annual T.U.G. Tournament at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. This was our first NAFA tournament in probably 15 years or more. We weren't sure what to expect as far as the venue or the new-to-us racing rules, but we had a great time! The weather was perfect, and Surf City and all the teams were so friendly and welcoming. There were great welcome bags, racing awards, and a fun mystery gift. Many thanks to Steve Corona for judging all weekend!

We had just one team entered in Open each day. We took 2nd Place on Saturday and 3rd on Sunday. We are still figuring out the divisions in NAFA, but Open was great for us as none of our dogs had been measured for NAFA. We are still rebuilding our small team, but T.U.G. was a great experience, and hopefully we can come back again!

Fly'N Aces has run U-FLI since its inception. We are grateful to each and every person who has invested their time, energy, money, and love for the sport into making it possible for us to play. Change is hard and passions run deep. Our team has all the respect in the world for those who had the vision to create this organization and for those who will carry it forward into the future. We wish good luck to all!

Now, if we could only find a race venue here in Las Vegas...

FNA sends a big “thank you” to Touch N Go for hosting a one-day tournament at Smarty Paws. We placed 1st in our division!

 We had two dogs that had never run on a team and three new handlers. Even with some nervousness and a bit of craziness in the lanes, we managed to run some good races. We are looking forward to our next tournament in Cedar City in February.
