AWESOME UPDATE ....Serenity and Zues will be reunited 💓 shortly with their family. Leave no paws behind.

Paws Patrol on the road today came across two wandering cuties both in different locations help us find their families. Please secure your pets this is all too common. Thankfully they were easily willing to jump in for the ride. If you see something say something and secure them their life depends on it.

Meet Stella – a brave little Frenchie who needs our help.

Stella is a sweet, beloved French Bulldog who has always been well cared for and cherished by her family. Recently, she suddenly developed an abdominal bleed, and emergency diagnostics revealed tumors on her kidney that had ruptured. Her family was devastated — not only by the news, but by the reality that they couldn’t afford the life-saving surgery she urgently needed.

Dr. Woo and the team at Affordable Animal Surgery stepped in and offered to perform the surgery at a significantly discounted cost to give Stella a fighting chance. Against all odds, Stella survived the surgery. Her ruptured kidney and tumors were removed, and she received an auto-transfusion thanks to her Angel donor, Ophelia (the Lab).

Stella is still hospitalized and being closely monitored. Her family is incredibly grateful she made it this far, but they now face an outstanding vet bill of $950 — a balance they simply cannot cover on their own.

Stella fought so hard to stay alive.
Her family fought for her.
Now they need our help.

🎥 RESCUE VIDEO: Tinsel 🐾

Here’s a look at some of the moments from yesterday’s rescue of little Tinsel — the scruffy pup who had been evading everyone for weeks / months. 💔

Rescues like this can get really stressful, especially when the dogs start making their way toward busier roads. Plans have to shift, and it's all about adapting in the moment - keeping eyes on the dog, getting eyes from the community, and jumping into action the second there’s another chance.

This little guy wasn’t having it - with open yards everywhere and zero hesitation about crossing traffic, there was no safe way to corner him. But when a neighbor let us know he was back in the area, we moved quickly. We brought out a trap, pushed him gently back toward that block… and it worked. 🙌

🐶 Tinsel is now SAFE and off the streets, thanks to the quick action of the community and the amazing team at Difference Pet Rescue, who stepped up to take him in.

It truly takes a village — and we’re so thankful for everyone who helped make this happen. 💛

🎉 SECURED! 🎉

These two little fluffballs were spotted last night near the playground at Pettiti Park (Putnam & Donna). Cold, scared, and huddled together - our team was alerted and Kelly rushed out, dual-wielding his trusty nets like a rescue ninja and was able to safely secure both pups!

No microchips, no tags — just two lost souls in need of help.

☀️ Sunshine Update! ☀️
Our sweet wetlands lab, Sunshine, is officially out of surgery and doing well! 🌼 She had surgery to correct her painful eye condition (entropion), and while she’s still hospitalized for continued care, she’s already improving and finally getting the comfort she’s long deserved.

We can’t thank you all enough for the love, shares, and generous donations that helped make this possible. 💛

A very special thank you to Forgotten Dogs Animal Rescue for stepping in to help sponsor her medical care, and to the incredible teams at Horizon Ridge Animal Hospital and Legacy Animal Hospital for their compassion, skill, and dedication.

Sunshine’s journey isn’t over yet - but for the first time in a long time, it’s filled with hope, healing, and love. 🌈

As the nights get colder and darker, we're seeing many more pets on the streets. Nearly impossible for us to keep up with the number of calls, messages, tagged posts and it's heartbreaking 💔 we want to save them ALL.

Calls such as...
"Dogs are running"
"Hit by a car"
"Dog on the highway "
"Can't catch it"
"Couldn't stop"

By the time we arrive they are usually gone and the search is the longest part of a rescue.

This girl ran, down many streets. So many sightings of her throughout the day until a volunteer eager to find her was able to locate her. Then the rest followed. She's now safe and secure.

Just as you, we are regular citizens, working full time jobs, with pets, with fosters and trying to save lives. All for the love ❤️ of Animals.

We need you help finding a Foster so we can get a Rescue, please help us save 1 more life!! 🙏
We want to try to keep her out of the shelter, find her family or give her a chance at a new life. She's truly a sweet girl.

SUNSHINE 🌞 — NEXT STEP FORWARD

Medical update
Initial diagnostics brought incredible news: normal stool and urine panels, dehydration resolving, rocks and gravel fully passed, solid stools, improved strength, and a gentle, affectionate demeanor beginning to shine through. Labs were extensive and reassuring, giving us the green light to move forward.

Today
Sunshine has been transferred to a specialized animal hospital to prepare for her entropion eye surgery and spay. These are the next critical steps in giving her a pain-free, healthy future.

This transition marks an important milestone, but it also comes with significant medical costs. Specialty care, surgery, and recovery add up quickly, especially for dogs who have already endured so much before rescue.

• Hospitalization and recovery
• Ongoing medical support

Every contribution goes directly toward giving Sunshine the comfort, vision relief, and fresh start she deserves.

He's currently in a temporary foster home who has been gracious enough to get him out of boarding and allow him to decompress as well as acclimate to a home environment with other pets.
Unfortunately, they can't keep him long term 😞

Rescuing, working, fostering, all becomes a bit overwhelming but with a community and people like you we know we have to keep going to save every animal that we possibly can.
