! THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES !
*This post is not to shame anyone*
Pictured is an i1 Phidippus Regius after darkening and leaving the egg sac. I did not take this baby out of the nest, someone brought just the egg sac with no other webbing in a deli cup to a friend and they asked for advice or if I would like to take them and try my best to save who I can. I was in the process of moving them from an empty deli cup where they were wobbling around the bare bottom instead of in their mama’s webs when this photo was taken.
If your spider lays eggs and you think they are fertile please reach out to a br33d3r you trust! I don’t personally recommend pulling the eggs even if you are going to give them to someone that will care for the babies. Babies should be left with mom until they begin to emerge from the nest. Please don’t hesitate to ask questions!
