This is the roof we paid $30k for. Did we get scammed?
I just replaced the flat roof of my multi-family in Brooklyn. The roofers have proven to be very unprofessional and have poor work quality. The roof has air bubbles, standing water in a sunken area, gaps at the seams, and the felt is not flush on the plywood. I paid $30k to have this done (including restoring structural beams underneath). My partner and I are very unhappy with the work but want to get your thoughts on this. Did we get scammed?

Drunk 13-Year-Old Flips Stolen Vehicle Driving 100mph at 1am With 11-Year-Old Passenger

Two children survived a car crash after taking a late-night joyride this week, officials said.

Around 1am on September 30, Highway Patrol officers received a call about car driving the wrong way on the interstate. A deputy observed the vehicle drive the wrong way across the median and then self-correct before continuing eastbound at over 100 mph.

Before being seen by the deputy, the vehicle had been reported as stolen and had allegedly fled from Flagstaff Police, Highway Patrol added.

Police say that the vehicle drove onto a guardrail and rode across it before rolling repeatedly and landing in a tree, the agency continued.

According to Highway Patrol, the impact was so severe that the steering wheel broke off as the vehicle rolled and flew about 50 feet from where it landed.

The driver was a 13-year-old, and an 11-year-old was riding in the passenger seat. Both children sustained non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Troopers observed 6 out of 6 signs of intoxication in the driver before medics transported them. A blood alcohol analysis at the hospital showed the driver had a 0.183 BAC.
