Hi Everyone! It's me! I haven't been on facebook for so long. This pandemic has really impacted my travel! I have been at home with Alette Coble-Temple for the last 11 months. In that time I have gained a new friend, my buddy Oxxo, who we rescued from Mexico in August. I also discovered I like being lazy!

So, it's official! This coming Sunday 2/7/2021 I will enter a new chapter in my life. I am retiring as Alette's service dog. I will still offer lots of support to my Temple family, especially to Jennifer! On Saturday, I am excited for my retirement celebration at the Oakland Zoo! I will be able to have one last visit to my favorite gibbons, giraffes, meerkats, and bears!

I am happy to report Reddy is home!!!! He gave us quite scare and he is very lucky to be with us today. Must dogs who go into the vet with Septic Peritonitis. Typically this is cause by a rupture in the abdominal track or by cancer, the good news is that they don’t see any of that in Reddy. The bad news is it is a complete mystery how he got so sick, thankfully we caught it early and he should make a full recovery, please keep him in you thoughts. I can tell he still wants to work because he is following me around the house which is a great sign.

I loved hanging out at the Academy of Sciences before Halloween. And as you can see, I love this song too!

Dancing with fish isn't always safe though... watch out for those electric eels!

Today is National Dog Day. It's pretty great being a dog - especially today. But there are a lot of dogs out there that still need to be adopted. National Dog Day aims to raise awareness about issues that affect dogs, such as adoption, breed bans, and puppy mills.

Please consider donating to your local shelter to help support homeless dogs. My siblings were also rescue dogs who were saved thanks to organizations helping to bring dogs into new homes.

https://www.nationaldogday.com/about1

"Millions of dogs are killed each year because they're simply unwanted, says Colleen Paige, founder of National Dog Day. They're unwanted because no one realized how to properly care for the demands of the breed. They're unwanted because they were bought as a Christmas gift for a child that didn't keep their promises about caring for the dog...unwanted because they shed too much...unwanted because they bark too much. UNWANTED...simply because someone changed their mind. All a dog wants to do is love you and be loved by you. Dogs are amazing, courageous, sensitive and sentient beings that deserve compassion and respect. Please consider bringing what was once considered "unwanted love", into your heart and home on National Dog Day!"

We honor dogs for all they do and for their unconditional love. Dogs are family and our goal is to educate the public about their plight and promote adoption.

Wow! Mom and I went on a trip to New York, and now we have 400 likes on Facebook. We should go to New York more often!

My dear friend is a member of this wonderful inclusive dance company. They recently did a site specific dance at Lake Merritt, and showed the public that anyone can dance.

Don’t miss our AXIS Summer Intensive Participants Site Specific Performance today 3pm at Lake Merritt (meeting beside Lake Chalet).
