While you're celebrating, don't forget that the holiday can be one of the most stressful days of the year for our pets. A little preparation can help keep them safe and comfortable.

🐾 Keep pets safely indoors during the festivities. 🐾 If they need to go outside, always use a leash—even in a fenced yard—and make sure they're wearing ID tags with current contact information. 🐾 Exercise your dog early in the day before the fireworks and celebrations begin. 🐾 Provide enrichment, such as food puzzles, chews, or sniffing activities, to help keep them occupied. 🐾 Create a quiet, comfortable indoor space where they can relax while the celebrations are happening outside—white or brown noise is helpful to drown out the fireworks.

Fireworks, parties, and holiday celebrations can be stressful—and even dangerous—for our pets. A little preparation now can help keep them safe.

🐾 4th of July Safety Tips:
• Make sure your pet's microchip is registered and your contact information is up to date.
• Double-check that your pet is wearing a collar with a current ID tag.
• Keep pets indoors during fireworks and make sure doors, gates, and fences are secure.
• Create a quiet, comfortable space where they can relax away from the noise.
• Exercise your dog earlier in the day before festivities begin.
• Never bring pets to fireworks displays.

📍 Need a microchip? Tomorrow (June 27th) the shelter is offering FREE microchips at Las Cruces City Hall from 9am-12pm. It's a quick and easy way to help your pet find their way home if they become lost. Be sure to take advantage of this great opportunity!

🎉 Cloud K9 Dog Training Services is officially 13 years old! 🎉

Thirteen years ago, Cloud K9 started with a simple goal: helping dogs and their people build better relationships through kind, effective training.

Since then, we've had the privilege of working with thousands of dogs and their families, teaching group classes, private lessons, behavior consultations, and celebrating countless successes along the way. From puppies learning their first cues to helping dogs and owners navigate behavioral challenges, every dog has taught us something and every client has been part of our journey.

To our amazing clients, students, referral partners, friends, family, and supporters—thank you for trusting us with your dogs and allowing us to do what we love every day.
