A well-respected Irish Wolfhound breeder I know up in Iowa shared this. Since dog illnesses don't discriminate between breeds, I feel this is good info to be aware of. Keep an eye on your pups and see a vet if they start showing symptoms.

Exciting news! Our first kB litter is here. After 6 long hours, Seraphim delivered 4 healthy boys. All are kB black carriers, at a minimum, and we believe at least 3 of the 4 are full kB blacks. We'll be getting genetic color testing done to know for sure. Funny thing about the first 2 boys. We have a feeling they're twins. Both are identical, to include the size and shape of the white patch on their chest. The only difference between those 2 is the first one might have a tiny bit of white on his right rear toes.

Momma is doing fine, if exhausted. Without further ado, we would like to introduce the Astronomers Litter: Galileo, Copernicus, Hubble and, as a nod to a famous local astronomer, Tombaugh.
