Baby Barlow is a Mini Aussie, recently joining her new family, who are off on the right paw in socialization, desensitization, and training!
While this precious little nugget is only 9 weeks old, early grooming is key to future success in her spa day experience as Grooming can be stressful as so many just are not desensitized to the sounds of the equipment, brushing, nails, different areas of the body being touched, ear cleanings and more. However, starting young and maintaining that routine will greatly impact your pet's success!
While we really hate to associate the words "grooming" and "stress" in the same sentence, it is real, and unfortunately, folks simply aren't aware of the importance that early introduction can play a key role in how your best pal handles such experiences.
Socializing is another key element in the upbringing of your little buddy, introduce them to other animals, humans, place settings where they can become confident and unafraid of the various energies they will experience in various situations. Let them be a dog, let them have alone time, and let them experience life outside of their home and yard as this all will make a huge difference.
You, your pet and your community will greatly appreciate your efforts and in the long run, it will be much less stress on you, your pet, wallet and the pet professionals who care for your furry sidekick!
