Meet Reina and Spike—a sibling duo born in May who believe life is better in tag-team mode. These two will keep you entertained with their WWE-style miniature wrestling matches.

Today we’re celebrating the fiery charm and big hearts of our orange kitties at LAWS, each one ready to find a forever home! 🧡

🔸 Saratoga – Our longest-awaiting ginger girl! Athletic, loving, and full of pizzazz, Saratoga will happily perch high to keep an eye on you or snuggle in close when it’s couch time. She even likes to groom her humans to show her affection.

🔸Churro – A sweet, shy boy with stunning green eyes who blossoms with a little patience. Once he feels safe, he’s all about cozy naps and gentle snuggles. Bonus: he loves leash playtime and has a built-in buddy, his brother Champurrado!

🔸 Sailor – The life of the party! Bottle-fed as a baby, Sailor is fearless, chirpy, and loves everyone including cats, dogs, and humans alike. He’ll happily sail right into your lap (and your heart).

Speaking of national dog day -- what better day to spotlight some very special pups still waiting for their families? Meet our Greyhound/Saluki mix puppies—including the dashing David Bowie showing off his fetch skills.

✨ About the Breed Mix
These elegant sighthound pups are smart, athletic, and loyal, but they’re not for everyone. Greyhounds are calm and gentle at home, while Salukis are known for their sensitivity and endurance. Together, they make a unique blend of speed (up to 45 mph!), athleticism, and affectionate companionship.

💡 What Adopters Should Know

Strong prey drive—may not stay cat/small animal safe as they grow.

Need daily opportunities to sprint in a secure, fenced area.

Sensitive and thrive on gentle, consistent training.

Can be escape artists—tall, secure fencing is a must.

Best with gentle playmates; not suited to roughhousing with big, bouncy dogs.

These pups will thrive in homes ready to give them safe outlets for exercise, patient training, and lots of love. If you’re up for the challenge, you’ll be rewarded with a truly extraordinary companion.

🐾 Happy National Dog Day! 🐾

Today we’re celebrating all the incredible dogs who’ve touched our lives—and the wonderful families who opened their hearts and homes to them. In 2024 alone, 56 dogs found their forever homes through LAWS! That’s 56 wagging tails, countless sloppy kisses, and endless joy brought into the world. 💛

Every adoption is a story of hope, second chances, and the unbreakable bond between people and pets. Thank you to everyone who has adopted, fostered, volunteered, donated, or supported us this year—you make these happy endings possible.
