There’s always a steady flow of horses coming through our program at Umbrella Equine, but we wanted to introduce you to our mainstays.

Party with Diamonds (“Bling”) – 7 year old buckskin mare by CD Diamond out of Partyware (by High Brow Cat)

Heavy Metal Gal DR (“Gal”) – 4-year-old red roan mare by Magneticat out of Cat Del Mar (by Bet Hesa Cat)

Smart Star DR (“Dice”) – Yearling sorrel gelding by Starlight Midnight out of WR Scarlet Lizzard (by WR This Cats Smart)

Jazz and Wheezy - We can’t talk about our string without mentioning Kai’s minis. Both were bred this year so we’re looking forward to some mini babies next year!

We’ve been around on social media for a while, but realized we’ve never given a proper introduction.

At Umbrella Equine, Justin Dory specializes in Ranch Horse Versatility and Cow Horses, with the goal of producing quiet, solid horses that can also compete at a high level. Based in Laramie, he grew up with horses and competed in professional saddle bronc riding before turning his focus fully to training and showing performance horses. His favorite parts of training are teaching the stop, the spin, and teaching young horses to go down the fence.

In addition to developing his own horses, Justin rides client show horses, provides lessons, and coaches the University of Wyoming Ranch Horse Team. His focus is always on creating horses that are competitive in the arena while remaining enjoyable and trustworthy partners outside of it.

We got a call today needing assistance for a couple steers that had gotten loose in town. Thanks to Red Knight 44 “Rip” we were able to get them escorted back home. He’s hip #76 at the , check him out!!
