Animal Health Center's Critter Cottage is currently accepting resumes for PART-TIME KENNEL TECHNICIANS! Responsibilities include walking dogs, basic pet care, including feeding, giving medications, and sanitizing the facility. This is a great position for students or someone looking for supplemental income as shifts are early mornings (~7am-9am), evenings (~5pm-7pm), and weekends with a longer shift on Saturday morning. We are so excited to welcome Dr. Wilson-Petersen to our team!

Dr Wilson-Petersen is proud to be returning to the Laramie area, where her lifelong passion for animals and veterinary medicine first took root on her family's cattle ranch. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the University of Wyoming before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in May 2025.

Her clinical interests include equine and small animal dentistry, ophthalmology, preventative care, and beef production medicine—a natural extension of her roots in Wyoming's ranching community.

Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys camping, paddleboarding, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, Taran, and their two retired cattle dogs, Jackson and Ziggy.

JOIN OUR TEAM! We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill our full-time Kennel Facility Manager position. This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday hours. The position involves managing the daily operations of our boarding facility, including pet intake and departure, canine exercise and play, basic pet care duties, and facility sanitation. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for leading a team of part-time kennel employees. Strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently, are required. Previous experience in management, pet care, and animal behavior/training is preferred, but not necessary. We offer a competitive salary, health insurance, and retirement benefits.
