In memory of Kyle Polhemus, who battled muscular dystrophy, this charity brings awareness and creates a sense of community for families overcoming a diagnosis of disabilities. For close to 50 years, Valparaiso Americans has maintained a tradition of excellence for coaching and training young athletes in the great American pastime of baseball. They are a non-profit organization that relies completely on volunteer coaches, registration fees, and donations from sponsors within the Valparaiso community.
