We offer wet and dry tan options. Headwaters Hydro is a company that provides professional hydro dipping services. Hydro dipping is a method of applying printed graphics to a three-dimensional surfaces. Our hydrographics can be applied to an array of items from plastic to metal to bone, coating complex surfaces using only high quality materials. Hydrodipping creates a unique touch to any firearm o

r skull by adding a personal touch to represent a memory or a passion. Almost anything can be hydrodipped! Another 35 cubic foot freezer was delivered! We officially have room (for a week or so!!!) before this one is filled up! This one wasn't even unboxed yet and we ordered an additional 35 cubic foot freezer...Needless to say, we did not expect to be this busy this season but we are very grateful for our awesome customers!!! Another 6 foot Minnesota Black Bear salting! We are still mixing in bears, raccoons, coyotes and otters with all of the deer capes! It's nice knocking out these bears to open up more freezer space for deer though!😅

Like always! Here we have a batch of wet tanned whitetails ready for the freezer and another batch ready to be washed! At any given time we have hides that are thawing, salting, pickling, tanning, and washing! I try to always have hides thawing to keep the cycle going to limit any down time to ensure the fastest turnaround time that I can. Gotta love this time of year!!!

Whitetail Wednesday!! Things are ramping up here at H.E.T. and we are pumped! We have Whitetails almost always thawing in the shop to start the fleshing/turning process as well as various capes salting or hanging! Here is a batch of Whitetails that have been wet tanned and will be washed tomorrow morning! Behind them are a couple capes ready to be worked on! This is an example of one of our high-quality wet tanned deer capes right before being bagged and tagged! They are all washed and dried to ensure a faster thawing time for taxidermists! We use durable bags to help protect your capes!
