Congratulations to Officer Blaisdell and K9 Dino! The newest partnership in Cottonwood Heights. Dino is a Shepinois from 🇸🇰. He’s as fun as they come. Can we all give some likes for this new team.

Logan’s owners called and said we were his last hope before he was to be put down. On meeting Logan I was asked if he should be muzzled, I said no I get bit that’s part of my job. I like to see the real issue the root and reason people need help. Walked into house and Logan tagged me. Quick bite then let go, then tagged me again. I knew he was special but also very confused at the world. He’d bitten 3 people before me and broke skin on all 3. We loaded Logan up in a crate I took him home and over an 8 week period we lived, we worked, we trained, we experienced the world in a new way together. His life changed and now his people are also changing to do the right things to manage and continue on Logan’s path of a fulfilling life. Are we as people living a life of fear? Are we guilty of sheltering ourselves and others to not allow them to be exposed to the goodness and greatness of this life? Lesson learned by my friend Logan , thanks for helping me remember there is always hope and we can change and be better than we ever had been previously in our lives. Congratulations and Thankyou to the Rooney family for allowing Logan to come teach me and remind me about life. So often we just give up when it’s hard ,but the Rooney’s didn’t give up. Logan changed and is better for it and so have many around him. Sometimes the troubled ones are the ones that need the most care, light and understanding both in life and in training dogs! Also shout out to and .mcpherson1 for helping in his transition and training. I couldn’t do it without you both.
