To the Karen or Chad who reported us to the USDA for use of the word organic....good on you. This is an urban farm that makes about 5k a year. We do about $400 in plant sales. Out of the two owners and only employees, one has a brain tumor and the other has PTSD. Whatever the motivation, please get real. We arent a threat to you or anyone
And to the folks that dont know us well or aren't familiar with our practices, we utilize natural farming practices through and through. We make our own fertilizers from comfrey, fish scraps, and wild harvested mycelium. We use those inputs to innoculate our homemade compost and that compost is the only thing added to our crops.
The bigger issue here is when government turns from participatory and engaging to regulatory and abusive. No help, no guidance, just a $23,000 threat. When big brother decides to hurt instead of help....well....2026
