Walks/Drop-ins: $30 for 30 minutes, $40 for 1 hour, holidays $40 for 30 minutes, $50 for 1 hour

Housesitting varies by distance, needs, and number of dogs. Must be within 20 minutes from my driveway to yours for housesitting, drop-ins, and walks unless you’re one of my OG clients that I still make exceptions for. Prices on Rover will be nearly identical.

When I started this years ago I wrote a book about our then 12 year old German Shepherd Turbo Marie who pushed me to start this career/business, she passed away at 13 in April of 2022 and I’ve never had the heart to attempt to write a new bio on my pet care experience until now which is Valentine....

Welcome to Kenos. Where we show you the real work without the magic of editing or sad songs playing in the background for sympathy. I show you the raw reality of what go's into a days work. The day doesn't consist of sitting in a warm office posting and working with a editing team . It doesn't consist of planning gala, events or bar parties. It doesn't consist of relying on workers or fosters to watch and care for my kids. The day consists of pure sacrifice. Its old school rescue at its best. No nice clothes or perfect hair. Just put on dirty work clothes and a hat. I dont need people to like me, I need for people to love my kids and Kenos mission. Old school rescue is something of the past. Im a dieing breed. To many hands on a computer not enough hands on the precious lives that were saved. People ask me to do more on social media but that will never happen because I'd rather do more spending time with my kids. Its bad financially and a bad business decision but like I always say im not running a business im living my passion.

LOOKING FOR A HOLIDAY MIRACLE. GOAL IS 6,500 The holidays are always a struggle at kenos. While other rescues/ sanctuaries are decorating and getting all dressed up and having parties with there volunteers and workers giving presents to each other. Watching them get tons of goodies and money dropped off from there followers and communities for the holidays. Getting surprised checks from companies and businesses. kenos just hopes to survive another month. My kids sadly get no surprised gifts . My kids have no party or decorations for the holidays. We would love to make it more cheerful but sadly like every year we live week by week with nothing to spare . What we have in our bank account most rescues make in a week. The stress between the fridged cold and overwhelming work and wondering if we can keep the lights on another month is over bearing. So this year we are hoping that people and companies and businesses see kenos and hopefully help us to keep our doors open. Maybe we can have a no stress holiday and be able to just enjoy for once.
