One of my favorite teams!

This mare came to me as a two year old to start under saddle a few years ago. The owner went home and continued her training and this past winter, she came back to me to fine tune some things and start on the pattern! Well this duo has been out there crushing it this summer and they are getting faster each run as they are figuring each other out! Oh and they already one their first buckle! 🙌🏽

I am beyond proud of this team and I can’t wait to see what they continue to do as I know they have BIG plans for this fall! ❤️

If you want your horse to be set up for success, after they leave the trainers, continue on with their education in your hands! Every horse that leaves my hands, I tell the owners that if they have any questions or problems arise to call me or send me videos so I can help them! Don’t be afraid of asking for help if you feel you are at a standstill or just don’t know, a supportive coach/trainer will help you through it!

We loved seeing all the new faces out here as we were honored to share our facility with Northern Pines Stables for their Horsemanship Challenge!! It was hot one but thank goodness for the breeze and cloud cover at times, oh and in true North Dakota fashion this year, a few sprinkles here and there.

🚨🚨LOCATION CHANGE🚨🚨

We are super excited that we will are able to help Northern Pines Stables so they don’t have to find a new weekend after a scheduling conflict. This will be the first Horsemanship Challenge out here on June 28th! Lots of EASY parking! Stop by after running barrels in Antler as it’s on the way home!

Some great points with all this smoke we have been having!

🔥 Wildfire Smoke & Horse Health 🐴💨

As wildfire season heats up, so does the risk of poor air quality — not just for us, but for our horses too. Smoke from wildfires can irritate a horse's respiratory system and cause fatigue, coughing, difficulty breathing, etc.

You can monitor air quality at www.airnow.gov. During periods of poor air quality, you can protect your horse by:
🐎 Limiting exercise
💧 Providing fresh water
💦 Controlling dust such as watering dry lots and soaking or feeding dust-free hay
🕰 Allowing time for recovery: airway damage from wildfire smoke takes 4 to 6 weeks to heal after air quality returns to normal.

Look at this GLOW UP!!!! ✨✨✨

This little lady came to me this past fall to lose some weight, and things were going so well that she ended up staying with me most of the winter, with some trips home every once in a while, as we didn’t want her to gain it back, as we all know how ponies are... Well, I would say our plan worked; look at that transformation!

How did we get this transformation? We closely watched her diet, did some swimming, did some hot walker sessions, and some riding, but we stayed consistent and it paid off!

This pretty girl heads home next week, and I can’t wait to hear all about the adventures she is going to have this summer!!

Owners who send their horses off for training/conditioning/etc., we understand that plans change, horses sell, horses get hurt, and life happens. As a facility owner, if you have a spot saved for a horse, please let that facility know right away if plans have changed. Don’t leave them with an empty spot to fill last minute; this is what puts food on their table, pays their bills, and pays their employees.

We understand that everyone has had plans change, but just remember to be considerate!

This handsome stud just finished his stay with us swimming! If anyone is still looking for a stud to breed their mare too, I HIGHLY recommend considering this guy!! He is super sweet, versatile, and added bonus, he has color and isn’t lacking in the hair gene department!!
