With thanks to our supporters, SOS was able to donate Melatonin Implants to Ferret Rescue of Maine. A special thank you also goes out to his Lordship Earl of Cromwell aka Early and Mom, Erica for donating a Melatonin Implant gift certificate to South Shore Ferret Care.

Thanks to you our supporters, SOS was able to help Eli's Ferret Rescue Shelter on Distemper vaccines for recent intakes that the owner said if she cannot get them placed somewhere right now, she would have them put to sleep. A sad situation was avoided with thanks to a shelter mom. Without you, we wouldn't be able to help.

Support Our Shelters' Blizzard Memorial fund is pleased to help on Opie's after surgery care.
Opie is under Five Point Ferret Rescue and in the care of a foster home to be near his amazing vet. Opie was abandoned in an apartment with a horrible growth on his little face which has been removed, and he is doing well thanks to all who were involved with his rescue and care.

Sending thanks to our loyal supporters; with your help and support, SOS recently sent Melatonin Implants to Five Points Ferret Rescue Shelter, Furever Ferrets Rescue Shelter, and food to help fill tummies at West Coast Ferrets.

With thanks to our donors and special thanks to Mark Sonders, the SOS Blizzard Memorial Fund is pleased to be able to help on little Bacon's Lupron Treatments for his advanced Adrenal Disease.
Thank you, Kindness Matters for the wonderful, loving care you are giving him at the shelter. At Bacon's age he may not get to go to a home of his own, but he is living his best life at the shelter. :)

Giving a shelter ferret a loving home of its own is a great way to celebrate but there are other ways to celebrate and help a shelter if you can't adopt.
Volunteer, donate or just offering words of encouragement can go a long way and make a difference to a shelter operator who gives their all for these wonderful little companions.
You can make a difference too!
