This sweet tiny senior girl is looking for a foster to adopt home. She's approximately 10 years old and 5 pounds. She's waiting for some surgery - spay and dental - so will need to stay in Milwaukee or Waukesha County. She wants nothing more than to snuggle with her person. No big dogs or small children please! Raindrop and Jasmine are bonded 9 year old sisters who need a quiet foster to adopt home. We are hoping to find someone who is home more than gone and who doesn't have big dogs. These girls had to leave their home of 8+ years when their owner's health declined rapidly. They are both very sweet and love people. They ride quietly in the car and bark very little (only to alert you when someone rings the bell or knocks on the door). They are spayed and will have a full veterinary exam soon. If you think you can take care of these 2 for the rest of their golden years please send me a message.

We had a wonderful adoption take place last weekend!! Willie, one of our long term fosters was adopted 🥰. Willie has been with us since March and needed to be with other small dogs as he does best with their company. We're so happy for Willie, Katie, and his new shihtzu siblings ❤️.

Maxine came into our care on Saturday. This senior girl has had her whole world turned upside down. Her owner went into memory care and there was nowhere for her to go. Maxine was never really socialized - her social circle was less than 5 people and 0 dogs. Maxine's mouth is full of rotten teeth, she's a tad overweight and she's never had a professional grooming. 😔

On this fabulous start to the weekend we are doing a $5.00 Friday Fundraiser.
We are fortunate to have great people who donate on a regular basis (and you know who you are 🥰) It means the world to us!
This month we are hit a little harder with 5 dogs that need dentals, spay, and some that need mamary tumors removed at the same time.

Results came back and the tumor is benign!!
Penny joined our rescue last week. She went through quite a bit and we're waiting for test results to come back. This pretty senior girl will need another dog in her new home as she feels more comfortable with one than without. Penny loves her 11 year old human and follows her from room to room❤️.
Penny is estimated to be 9 years old and approximately 10 pounds.

Rosie #3 is our super senior of the day! Rosie has been in foster for a while now waiting for her dental and having a couple lumps removed. She is finally ready to start looking for her forever home🤞.
Rosie isn't looking for a lot; she doesn't need another dog to play with, she's not into being snuggled or on your lap. All she really wants is companionship. She may need a little help getting up on the couch, but she's also quite content on the floor.
Rosie weighs approximately 21 pounds and has quite a "unique" body shape. Can you help this sweet girl find her perfect match?

We've been asked to help out by taking in this bonded pair of senior Shih Tzus. At 12 years young they find themselves needing to be rehomed due to their owners being physically unable to take care for them. One has very little vision but will follow close to the other and can navigate quite well with her help. If anyone can foster these 2 sweet, housetrained girls please reach out to me ASAP. TIA

Daisy was welcomed in rescue today. She approximately six years old, a poodle mix(?), and 14 pounds and very sweet 🥰.
We're going to let Daisy settle in for a bit before putting her up for adoption!
