Daddy was a beautiful black and white Husky, and mama dog is featured in last photo. She is a Pyrenees mix that the vet said "didn't have a uterus").

At least 20 pounds a food per day is ALOT!
👉Galen needs our help until we can find all of them good homes 🐾

Currently he only has one more day worth of dog food left.

A 50 # red bag of Valu-Pak at Farmers Association on Stagecoach Road is about $35

I just wanted to let everyone know that all of Galen's Dogs have fared well over the last week with the snow and ice and artic temps!

Without the physical and financial help of so many amazing people, the outcome would not have been so good.
He has expressed his humble gratitude so many times for the outpouring of love. 🐾❤️

It's been a full time job for him daily to take care of all the dogs and new pups by himself. Making repairs to doghouses daily was quite the task, too!
But, so far so good.

I hope to get out there soon again (besides the bad weather and road conditions, my dad has been in the hospital all week).

Mama dog and 8 babies are warm and safe ❤️

(The daddy was a black and white Husky! And yes, we took mama dog in to get her spayed a few months ago, and both of the attending veterinarians said "she doesn't have a uterus, so we can't do the surgery". 😭)

Items bought January 13th for Galen & Dogs:

Rope to make Galen a line to hold onto as he has to navigate down a big slippery hill to feed half the dogs. (have some left over if needed!)
Caribeaners to attach to his waist.
5 gallon bucket to carry dog food and water in.
Waterproof gloves to remove ice from water bowls.
Duct tape to wrap covers onto dog houses.
All purpose scissors to cut door flaps and rope.
Batteries for his headlamp and lantern.

Groceries because I don't want my friend to be hungry!

We also bought 6 bales of straw today at Ace Hardware at @ $8.50 + tax each.

Screws for attaching boards to dog houses,
Rock Salt for ice on steps and ramp.

And a special thank you to my friend JIM "the candy man" from the Goodwill Outlet who gave me a bag of collars, leashes and hardness - several of which can be used for Galen's Dogs 😊

These are the angels who helped Galen and his dogs today make final preparations before the artic weather ❤️
4 hours of hard, dirty work!
But saving many lives.

I'm pretty sure we will be finding straw in our pants for weeks 😂
