You can't hear me laughing, but how cute was that?πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

First time Lady Longears Ranch and Arena. Honestly though she was great and stayed super soft and willing.

My 3 goals for 2026

Gain, obtain, and invest as much knowledge and experience as I can get my hands on.

Continue to build quality performance horses that can leave my barn and have a successful career.

And most importantly. Pray over each horse, person, and goal that comes across our path. No goal or dream is to big to accomplish. Dreams and Goals were never ment to be easy, but they can be fulfilling.

Bucky had stifle surgery multiple years ago, so he tends to move a little different than most ponies. To help him move correctly in a side pass, he needs to have the forward movement, versus just stepping to the side. So I started incorporating: hip in, and moving forward. This helps him to keep his stifle in line and he can pick his feet up and stabilize.

1. We started small just by asking him to step his hip off the wall by tapping the hip.

2. One the hip is off the wall then we walk forward a step. Make sure to let them rest and process.

3. Then incorporating both of those steps, and doing them both at the same time. Try not to let their head counter-bend (face the wall) when they step their hip in.

Some sides may not be learned as quickly, and that is ok. Just keep at it and as always make sure your horse is processing and staying connected and you arent forcing the move.

Ironic it's the year of the horse and this GIRL SHOWS UP!

Coming 3 years old in March with the winter off and she is onπŸ”₯.

Prepping for saddle work is not fast, easy or a small thing. Your horses stamina and muscle tone, and health should be first priority. One thing I found with working with TLC Farms Equine Rehabilitation Center the water treadmill, helps to strengthen the back muscle, build better top line, better balance, and just overall good healthy stamina, and makes the whole process much easier. Partnering with Complete Equine Performance nutrition and this girl is thriving.

Went you take the winter blanket off 😍🀀πŸ₯΅

Gwen will he turning THREE "mind blown" in a month! How my baby has grown. Little does she know her daytime sleeping schedule will be changed to go see Aunt Taylor Lewis at TLC Farms Equine Rehabilitation Center for her workouts to prep for saddle work.🀣

This past January 2026 she has been on Complete Equine Performance products for an entire year. You know you have good products when your coming 3 year old looks this πŸ‘Œ. Her dapples have just exploded as her winter hair came in. I may have not been a super fan of buckskins, but I definitely may be feeling a little biased now, when I say I like them.πŸ˜†
