Is someone available to help Toby?
Update:
Dear Friends and Supporters,
We wanted to share an update and say thank you. Because of the incredible support, networking, and outreach from so many of you, we were able to find a solution for our recent emergency situation. We are truly grateful — it takes a village, and once again you all showed up for these dogs.
That said, this has been one of the busiest weeks we’ve ever had.
In just this week alone, we brought in a record four dogs. We now have five dogs in our program — which is a lot for our very small rescue. Several of them will need to be spayed or neutered, and as everyone knows, the cost of surgeries, vaccinations, grooming, food, and medical care adds up very quickly.
We never want finances to be the reason we can’t say yes to a dog in need — but we also have to be responsible and sustainable. If you are in a position to donate toward medical and spay/neuter expenses, it would make an enormous difference right now. Every dollar truly helps us continue this work.
We also want to gently remind everyone that we are still a very small, volunteer-run rescue. We are always looking for fosters, volunteers, and especially individuals with fundraising experience who can help us grow our efforts and continue bringing in the resources our dogs need. Fundraising is what keeps our doors open and allows us to say yes when it matters most.
If you’ve ever considered getting involved, now is the time. Whether it’s fostering, helping at events, assisting with online auctions, or bringing creative fundraising ideas to the table — we would love to connect with you.
Thank you for believing in these dogs and in our mission. We truly could not do this without you.
With gratitude,
Joanna

🚨 DESPERATE PLEA FOR TOBY — WE NEED HELP NOW 🚨
This is one of the hardest posts we’ve had to write.
Toby needs a safe place to land — and we are desperately trying to find someone by this weekend.
Toby is not broken. He is not “bad.”He is a scared dog who has been trying to survive in situations he doesn’t fully understand. He has a lot of testosterone, a lot of uncertainty, and when fear takes over, he reacts the only way he knows how. Underneath all of that is a dog who simply needs someone experienced enough to slow things down and help him feel safe.
Due to absolutely no fault of his own, Toby is losing the place he’s been staying. We are out of options and out of time — and the thought of him ending up in the wrong situation breaks our hearts.
What Toby needs:🐾 An experienced dog person🐾 Someone familiar with fearful or nervous dogs🐾 Calm, confident leadership🐾 Patience, structure, and understanding
This isn’t a beginner dog situation. Toby needs someone who sees past the fear and understands that scared dogs don’t need punishment — they need stability and someone willing to give them a chance.
Right now, we are asking our community to show up for him. Please — if you have experience and room in your home, reach out. If you can’t help directly, sharing this post could be the reason Toby finds the person meant for him.
We are truly begging for help.Let’s not let Toby run out of chances. ❤️
