Little Tiny aka Waffle found his forever family. He is going to have a ton of fun playing with the kiddos and snuggling with mom. I’m so excited for him and all of his 1/2 siblings. These litters of pups were so sweet and through them I met a lot of great people.

Charlie went to his forever home yesterday. His new name is Bear and he is settling in with his new family nicely. I love that his new dad came and got him and was so in love with Bear the moment he saw him. ❤️

Bender went to his new home yesterday. He has made this boy’s day and filled his heart. It was such a blessing to be a part of this big surprise. Seeing this kiddos joy made it so much easier to leave Bender. He will be missed but I know he is well loved. (Bender and I were freezing in the picture, he wasn’t freaking out).

God is so good. Yesterday, Bender AND Charlie were spoken for. I am so excited for both of their families and for Bender and Charlie. The only 🐶 left to find his forever 🏠 is Tiny. I’m really surprised that he is the one waiting because he is so tiny and perfect. He will be 8 weeks old tomorrow! He weighs 2 pounds 4 ounces today.

For those who don’t “believe” like I believe this might sound a little crazy but I am so excited that God answered my prayers today. Yesterday morning I prayed (like I do most mornings) and asked God to help me find a good home for Bender. I LOVE Bender so much and he is such a good dog but the worst part about breeding dogs is I can’t keep them all. I wish I could but I can’t. Well yesterday a good friend of mine told me she found someone for Bender. The lady sounded like a perfect fit and I was so excited that God had already answered my prayers. Well fast forward 24 hours and I didn’t have a secure commitment from the lady BUT another family stepped up for him. Bender officially has a new family. He will be living in Colorado Springs and will be making a little 9 year old boy so happy. For me, I get the peace of knowing he will be well cared for and loved. I also get the joy of knowing the Lord heard my prayers and answered.

Ms. Bessie is going to her forever home tomorrow. She is staying close to home and is being adopted by one of my sisters. We are so excited that we will be able to see her and hold her regularly.

I just want to mention that people who post stuff like this on other peoples groups or pages are scammers. I’m sorry that I don’t see them all right away and get them blocked. If you are messaged by them please block them. They steal pictures and documents of reputable breeders and look legit but they are not.

This little guys name is Tiny. I haven’t posted much about him because he had a forever 🏠 since he was born. However, the older lady who chose him has been down on her luck with some health problems and can no longer care for him.

Tiny is well tiny…. At least compared to Penny’s puppies. He weighs just under 2 pounds. He is a toy poodle with AKC limited registration (meaning no breeding rights). With AKC registration he will have 30 days of health insurance. He has been through my ENS/ESI program and did amazing. He had his first shots, wormer, and health check. Since he is a single he has play time with Penny’s puppies every day. He loves to play with his 1/2 siblings and holds his own. He has energy but is not hyper. He loves to be held/snuggled. He is the last toy poodle puppy that I will have for at least a few years and the last Bender and Bessie puppy. You could say he is the Last of the Toyhicans. 🤔🤪

These two boys are the last ones looking for a new lap to keep warm.

Bender is AKC registered retired stud dog. He is 10-10.5 inches tall and weighs 7 pounds. He is neutered. He is 2 years old, potty trained, happy, rolls over, lays down, sits, comes to his name, and I’m pretty sure understands English. He is very loyal, loves to play and equally loves to snuggle. He knows how to use a doggy door and eagerly goes outside to potty. I do put a belly band on him because he has marked before. However, his belly band is always dry. Don’t let the belly band scare you away from Bender. He is a special-smart-loving dog with unique personality. He is one of those dogs you will tell your friends about because he is so fun. I love Bender and don’t want to let him go but I also want to raise my dogs right. I believe having too many dogs in one house gives them a pack mentality and causes bad habits that are hard to control. My hope is the family who decides to love him would be willing to send me update videos or pictures occasionally.

Charlie is AKC registrable 8 week old male. He weighs 2.5 pounds, had his first set of shots, and was vet checked by George at Silver Cliff Vet Clinic. He is a medium brown/red abstract miniature poodle. He has gone through my ENS/ESI program and did amazing. I groomed him this week without problems. He sat calm and comfortable the entire time. I have started potty training him which is going quite well and I am crate training him as well. He is very comfortable in the crate but at this point he has always had a sibling with him.

Many people want female dogs rather than males because they are afraid they will mark in the house. In my experience… if you get the male neutered before he breeds he will not mark. It’s also my experience that male dogs are more loyal. Females are loyal and they do love their owners but not like males. I think female only dog owners are missing out.

I had a conversation recently that reminded me about a poodle fact that many people don’t know, poodle colors change over time. Here are two examples. The top is Bender when we bought him in 2022 and then again just last summer 2024 when Heather Goddard took professional pictures for me. The bottom is one of Bender and Bessie’s puppies, Chico. The first is when he went home with his new momma and the second is just a couple months ago.

So many colors, so little time, so much confusion! If you were at all like myself when you first got into Poodles, all the color names and technicalities confused you. Tuxedo? Parti? Phantom? What!?! Are they even pure bred if they have more than one color in them? What's the difference? I've collected some really good picture examples of most of the color schemes Poodles can have and explained them, I hope this helps your decision to get a pup.

Remember, color is all based on genetics. It's like a magic trick, what you see is almost never what you get. The majority of poodles will look a lot different from 5 weeks old, to 5 years old. Unless you've done your research, and know exactly what you bred to, and planned it for color, it's like a box of chocolates (to quote Forrest Gump).
