Working dogs gotta have fun too! At HHWD, training isn’t just about control—it’s about building confident, capable K9s who love their job, whether they’re working, sport, or pet dogs. Our balanced trainers use a variety of tools and tons of play to create clear communication, strong obedience, and a training culture both dogs and handlers enjoy + thrive under. Josh doesn't just diligently decoy and train his own dogs for PSA. He's equally invested in every dog that steps into his space for development. Whether your K9 is a small but mighty Patterdale or Kerry Blue Terrier, another off breed, or a dog more closely associated with bite work like a Malinois, Dutch Shepherd, Doberman, or GSD, Josh is ready to have some fun with you and your K9. If you're really lucky, he might even share a few of his dad jokes in the process.

💙 PSA Regional Select Decoy and Worlds Competitor
❤️ Sir Henry closed his 2's in just 2 showings and is actively competing in the 3's
🩷 Molly Pi crushed her PDC and closed out the 1's this year with beautiful OB and PRO scores

KNOW THEIR NORMAL. NOTICE THE CHANGE.
One of the most valuable things we can do for our dogs is learn to recognize what 'normal' is for them
🐕 How they walk
⬆️ How they stand
⬇️ How they transition from sitting to lying down
↔️ How they distribute their weight
🔄 How they recover after exercise
