Here are some of the questions that we get asked regularly about boarding. Maybe these will answer some of the questions you may haveโฆ
Q: Does my pet have to be vaccinated??
A: ABSOLUTELY! Any reputable boarding or grooming facility will ask you for vaccines and if they donโtโฆ. RUN! If your dog gets sick, not only is it hard on the dog but it is expensive to treat.
Q: Can I bring my dogs own bedding, blankets and toys?
A: Of course! Bring whatever will make your pet feel at home while they are with us. We provide bedding and bowls for pets who do not bring their own.
Q: Do I have to bring food?
A: Yes, bring your dogs food and treats. We keep all pets on their same diet so we avoid upset stomachs.
Q: Can my dog be in heat while being boarded or groomed?
A: We do not accept pets for grooming while they are in heat but depending on where the dog is in their cycle we may accept them for boarding.
Q: What if I donโt want my dog to socialize with other pets while they are being boarded?
A: No problem. Our facility is set up to be able to keep everyone separate if an owner chooses to not let their pet socialize or if a pet is not friendly with other animals.
Q: Can you administer medications during a dogs boarding stay?
A: Yes, we can administer oral medications and injections.
Q: Is the boarding area climate controlled?
A: Yes, it stays around 70 degrees in the pets inside area.
Q: Does someone spend the night with them? ๐
A: No, but we have 24/7 monitoring that comes straight to our cell phone. We also live 6 minutes from the business if anything happens.
Q: Can I get my dog groomed before they check out of boarding?
A: Absolutely, just asked to be added to our grooming schedule.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes. The amount of the deposit depends on how many nights the dog will be staying with us.
Q: Do you accept aggressive dogs for boarding?
A: No
Q: What are your pick up and drop off times?
A: MWTHF, Anytime 9-1
Tuesday: 10 or 7
Saturday and Sunday: 10 or 7
