Citizens for Sheltered Animals (CSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization that was founded in 1987 by the late Rick Kerr. His Life long friend Mike is continuing the work to save the lives of animals that come across our path.

Citizens for Sheltered Animals (CSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization. In 1987, Rick Kerr of Santa Clarita, CA discovered that millions of healthy animals were being killed in animal shelters every year and decided he wanted to do something to reduce those numbers.
