Citizens for Sheltered Animals (CSA) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization that was founded in 1987 by the late Rick Kerr. His Life long friend Mike is continuing the work to save the lives of animals that come across our path.

UPDATE: I added another photo. He's still a little loopy from the anesthesia (eyes are dilated), but he's playing and cuddly. He's in my office / craft room so it's crowded, but I have to keep him from my other cat while we await test results.

Bennie is 8 - 9 months old and got through his neuter surgery okay. He is micro-chipped, too.

Looks like a Russian Blue. Very friendly (he gives love bites, but very gentle). His heart is strong. We are awaiting blood and other test results. We have vaccination records from The Cat Doctor. Very cute. Definitely acts like a kitten. Also, the video on my FB profile shows him before going to the vet. We don't want to risk him getting a disease he didn't have, so he is strictly an indoor cat now.

Hi! My name is Ace.

Hello Friends! Ace is a 6-7 year-old Pit mix that we rescued at a local shelter. He had to get some stitches recently (3-24-2021) due to a cut from a sharp object at our foster's home (a large enclosed area outside - likely a rock while playing). For this he is temporarily on pain medication and antibiotics.

He gets along well with the foster's female dog, but we're not sure if he does well with other male dogs or children, yet, because we have not seen him exposed to either. He has a sweet disposition with us adults and is in need of a loving furever home!

Please keep an eye out for the babies here and on our website and circulate the link and photos. All it takes is a little effort from several people to find homes and reunite families!
