Both parents are great house dogs and hunting companions. We look at the "total package", not just the pedigree, flavor of the month, or who's the closest. Sire is a Field Champion/Amateur Field Champion, hunts ducks, geese, pheasants, and a few other feathered creatures, then sleeps in the bed with his owner either in the condo or the travel trailer when they're on the road as did his sire who just passed away in December. Josie broke her leg as a young dog and had an extensive recovery time, so she's had limited training, she was in the middle of FF when she went in heat. She will resume training after puppies are weaned. Pictures of both dogs working are on our page. Josie (AKA JOJO) is enjoying her pups...if they make a noise she is taking care of the issue ASAP. We moved the pups to the clothes basket to change out her blankets and she got in there with them, we either have LARGE baskets or small dogs as there are nine pups. Should make some nice small boat dogs for hunting!
