If someone says a dog “isn’t motivated by rewards,” there’s a good chance they just haven’t spent enough time learning what motivates that dog. Not every dog works for the same thing. Some care less about food and more about praise, affection, or play time.

Good training is not about getting a dog to sit by any means necessary. A true professional will always find a positive motivator, no matter how much time it may take.

It’s about understanding the dog in front of you, building trust, communicating clearly, and working together toward the training goals. The best trainers don’t force motivation, they discover it. 🐾
