A Note About Grooming Services

Hi everyone,
As many of you know, I’ve moved from Pet’s General to my own shop. My daughter has decided to make grooming her career, and I couldn’t pass up the chance to work side by side with her.
I’ve put off writing this because it’s truly bittersweet. I simply outgrew my little hideaway in the back of the shop. If you follow this page, you already know how special the pet store is. It has been such a meaningful part of my life for the past 9½ years — personally and professionally. It’s a true family business, and that family includes the staff.
During my time there, I’ve had the privilege of working with the most diverse, interesting, and loyal clients — many of whom have become lifelong friends. I don’t think I can fully put into words what that has meant to me, but I hope you know how much you’ve enriched my life. I also hope I’ve helped you better understand and care for your pets along the way.
I will always be grateful for my time at Pet’s General Store and will continue to be a loyal customer.

This is Felix, a 5-year-old street-smart survivor who traded survival skills for snuggles the moment he met a human with a can of cat food.
Personality: Sweet, a little chatty at first (okay, a lot chatty) until he settles in. Loves everyone, especially kids who bring snacks.
Loves other cats, but not pushy. He’s lovely with dogs after a proper introduction.
He loves being held and will gaze at you like you are the actual love of his life.
If you’d like to bring Felix home for the holidays, he is at Pet’s General Store and adoptable through Tails from the City.

There are many things we are grateful for but we wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for all of you! We are so lucky for the community we are in and the friendship our shop brings to us. Thank you all and we hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving!

At only one-and-a-half years old, Dory is a sweet little girl who believes life is best enjoyed at a reasonable volume. Likes include: gentle head-boops, and quietly judging anything louder than a soft meow.
Dory is friendly with other cats and approves of well-behaved dogs.
She’s the kind of cat who will politely sit beside you while you work, nap, or contemplate the meaning of life—just don’t expect her to join in any chaotic household shenanigans.
If you’re looking for a loving companion who appreciates quiet moments, warm laps, and the occasional dramatic flop, Dory might just be your perfect match.
