Calling all photography enthusiasts! 📸

The Lakeway Photography Club is meeting at the Lake Travis Community Library on Monday, August 18th at 5:30 p.m. Come for a special, in-depth roundtable discussion with the exhibiting photographers from "Pages to Pixels", our current exhibit that visually explores your favorite literary worlds. We'll also be previewing the upcoming Lakeway Photo Festival.

Speaking of the festival, there's still time to enter! Capture the scenic beauty of Lakeway and share your amazing talent. The deadline for entries is August 31st.

Whether you're a beginner or a pro, we're a free, informal group dedicated to helping everyone improve their photography. See you there!

Calling Lakeway Photographers! It is time to for the 2025 Lakeway Photo Festival! Enter by August 31st.

Celebrating its 23rd year, the 2025 Lakeway Photo Festival 📷 showcases the unique beauty of our area and the amazing ⭐ talents of our local photographers. This year the photo categories include Birds 🦆, Community 🙏, Deer 🫎, Flora 🌺, Foliage 🌳, Vistas🌈 and Wildlife🐢. Student, amateur and professional photographers are encouraged to enter starting July 15th. All photos MUST be taken in the City of Lakeway and by residents within the Lake Travis ISD area.

Awards 🏆reception will be held Sunday, September 21st at the Lakeway Activity Center from 4-5pm and open to all. See you then!

HOW TO ENTER
It is FREE to participate! Just electronically submit a hi res digital photo to enter. Submit your entries by August 31, 2025 at 5pm. Good luck!

Join the Lakeway Photography Club (LPC) for our Spring Meeting on Tuesday, April 29th at 5:30 PM at the Lake Travis Community Library! 📚➡️🖼️ Free and open to the public! 🤝

We'll be diving into wildlife 🫎 photography and all the details about entering our exciting "Pages📖 to Pixels" photography exhibit (August 1st-30th, 2025)—where literature meets the lens! Plus, we'll have a special demo of Topaz Labs photo software and discuss other upcoming photo festivals.🏆

Hey Lakeway Photographers - Call for Photography! Women in Visual Art (WIVA) is looking for photos for the second annual "Women in Photography 2025" exhibit, celebrating Women's History Month. Held at the Lake Travis Library from March 1st to March 29th, this captivating showcase will feature a diverse collection of powerful and inspiring photographs exploring women's history, health, beauty, motherhood, and the ongoing pursuit of equality. It will feature both works by established women photographers and captivating photo portraits of women captured by talented local photographers.

If you would like to be a part of "Women in Photography" you can enter up to 5 photos for free online. The call for submissions is open until January 16th, 2025. Submit your work today!
