Meet Julia and all her dogs! 🐾 Julia is our founder and owner, and she loves dogs (in case you couldn’t tell!).
Meet Jasmine (14 years), Oliver (4 years), Dually (1 year), Dani (1 year), Lainey (1 year), Bica (10 months), and Rip (7 months)! They love being outside playing with their mom and dad, hanging out at DogTowne (so you might know them already!), and of course, enjoying pup cups so much so that the staff at Marylou’s even know them all by name! 🐶☕
Julia has loved animals her whole life. “Growing up, there wasn’t a question where to find me, either by my dog’s crate or my horse’s stall,” she says. She has surrounded herself with animals forever, and they bring her comfort and joy. Working with animals every day isn’t just her career, it’s her passion. “My days start by waking up to my horses neighing and my dogs barking, and end with cuddles and slobbery kisses.”
One of her favorite quotes is from Chris Stapleton:
“I can tell you right now, a dog has a soul.”
To help raise awareness for Dogust, the unofficial birthday for adopted dogs, we’re sharing photos of our pets, collecting dog supplies, and selling bandanas — all to benefit the Lakeville Animal Shelter throughout August!
