🐾 Consistency is Key! 🐾
Whether you’re training a brand-new puppy or working with an adult dog, one of the most important ingredients for success is consistency.
That means:
✅ Using the same cues and commands
✅ Reinforcing the same rules
✅ Responding to behaviors the same way every time
But here’s the big one: everyone in the household has to be on the same page.
If one person lets the dog jump on the couch and another corrects it, your dog gets mixed signals—and that slows down learning (and can lead to frustration for both of you!).
Dogs thrive when the rules are clear and predictable. 🐶💡
So talk as a family, decide on your training goals, and commit to being consistent together. Your dog will thank you with better behavior and a stronger bond! 💕
