Today is Neighborhood Pet Store Day! We want to thank all of our amazing customers who have supported us during our first month. It has been so much fun getting to know you and your pets. Our new sign finally went up yesterday!!! Another step in getting your neighborhood pet store complete so that we can serve the needs of our community. We hope you come out to visit us today. Good morning Lakeland!!! Benson’s canine cookies and The Doggie Bag have officially merged and is now Benson’s Doggie Bag , over at The Doggie Bag old location. Lab-Or-Day Weekend Hours🇺🇸

Heather & Rhonda will be Wagging their Tails together as Pack Leaders for the last time on Thursday, August 28th. It will be officially their last day on duty. 👯‍♀️

CALL THE PUPARAZZI…WE HAVE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!📣

After 23 years of making faces smile and tails wag, I have made the decision to sell The Doggie Bag. This hasn’t been an easy decision, honestly, probably the most difficult one so far. But, I’m ready to spend more time with my family. Owning this shop has been beyond rewarding, I feel embedded in this wonderful community and have made lifelong friendships and memories. But, being able to spend more time with Savannah, my daughter, is where I need to be…before I know it she’ll be off to college!

I can’t thank you enough, my Doggie Bag family for giving me the joy, love and support over all these 23 years, you have helped create my Happy Place. I will miss your smiling faces and those wagging tails! I have experienced your joys, your sadness, watched your children grow, and now know them as pet parents. This has truly been the experience of a lifetime, and I couldn’t have wished for a better 23 years!

Yvette, the new owner, has the passion to continue what I’ve started, and big plans to bring in new and exciting things! She will officially take over August 30th.

Thank you for 23 Years of Happy Faces and Wagging Tails.
