⭐️For customers of The Fur Pawlor part of this mile of pipe is right in front of the Shop. Your best bet is to park at the church by coming down Alicia from Rose or Main St. If you call when you're close I'll meet you there and do a pick up --or if you prefer to walk down that's fine too⭐️

Staff are operating industrial pumps from the US Army Corps of Engineers 24/7. Water will move through more than a mile of piping to a nearby outflow that empties into Lake Parker. From there, it will flow south to Lake Hancock, then to the Peace River where water levels will be monitored. The pipes can move more than 4,000 cubic feet of water per second

With pipes installed over land, several streets north of Lake Bonny are closed to traffic + pedestrians until further notice. If you’re driving in the area, plan to avoid East Main Street and take Memorial Boulevard instead.

The Fur Pawlor Tale

I'm a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant, having done 20 years active duty and also 15 years service with the Federal Government. After trying retirement for a few months I decided I needed a different route and ended up going to school at the Tampa Bay Area Pet Grooming Academy. I found that I truly enjoyed grooming dogs and seemed to have a pretty good knack for it! I graduated in March 2014. After graduating I was employed by the Academy as instructor/groomer until April 2017 when I moved to Lakeland and bought my home in late Spring 2017. I originally thought I'd open a brick and mortar groom shop somewhere in the city... but then realized the answer was actually in my backyard! I had an old one car garage that needed to be torn down, and after conferring with the city started construction January 2018...and groomed the first customer April 2018! The Fur Pawlor only takes one dog or dog family at a time. Your pup looking his/her best in a low stress environment, with no other dogs being groomed during their visit. They will not be caged and will never be crate dried. Since it’s just me and your pup, I’m able to provide one-on-one attention and complete his/her groom start to finish without interruptions.
