Ursula × Buddy’s babies have arrived!

We welcomed five sweet puppies, but unfortunately one of our little girls was born sleeping. 💔 We’re so thankful to have two beautiful girls and two handsome boys here with us.

Ursula and her babies are all doing wonderful. She has always been such a good mama and settled right back into motherhood like a pro. ❤️

I’m so excited to watch these little ones grow and see how they develop! Both wirehair and smooth coats are possible in this litter, so it will be fun watching those coats come in over the next few weeks. 🥰

As we get closer to delivery, my girls move into their whelping area right beside my bed so they can get comfortable and adjust to their new space before babies arrive.

These sweet little faces are getting more personality by the day, and I absolutely love watching them grow. Every one of these babies has a family waiting for them except our handsome little long hair red dapple boy!

Chew restock day around here 😂🐾

I spend a pretty good amount every month keeping quality chews available for my dogs, but it’s money well spent. They keep them busy and out of trouble, and I truly believe all that chewing is a huge reason my dogs maintain such clean, healthy teeth.

I keep plenty out at all times, so they’re really just another “toy” around here rather than something everyone feels the need to fight over.

One of my favorites is Ugly Chews … a highly digestible, hair on whole beef hide that isn’t bleached or heavily chemically processed like traditional rawhide. The hair provides natural fiber for the gut, and the company even describes it as a mechanical natural deworming aid.

Healthy teeth, busy dogs and less mischief = money well spent. 😂❤️🐾

And not a care in the world. 🥰🐾

At just 5 weeks old, we’re already working on getting these babies comfortable with all the little things that will be part of normal life… baths, nail trims, being handled, ears and paws touched, and lots of everyday household activity.

A little desensitizing now can make grooming and handling so much easier for them later. ❤️

Ps. Somehow this precious boy still hasn’t find his perfect lap yet!
